How often should I bring in my vehicle for service?
Factory recommendation is every 6 months or 8000kms whichever comes first! We can also give you a friendly reminder call to remind you when your last service is approaching 6 months!
What is included in a basic oil change? What is included in The Works package?
Basic Oil Change Getting an oil and filter change Highland Ford's Service Centre helps keep your engine clean and properly lubricated, so it can run more efficiently. Our experienced technicians offer high-quality oil and filter products from Motorcraft that are right for your vehicle. Put it all together and it can even help maximize your gas mileage and extend the life of your vehicle.
With The Works you get more than just an oil and filter change. It's our complete maintenance service that includes a tire rotation, up to 83-point inspection and a Vehicle Report Card that lets you know exactly how your vehicle is running!
How do I know if my repair is covered under a warranty?
First stop by Highland Ford's Service Department! Our Service and Warranty Advisors will be happy to inspect the vehicle and pull up all your vehicle specific warranty!
How do I find out about any recalls on my Ford vehicle?

For Ford vehicle owners you may also receive a letter from Ford informing you of a recall - in that case if have any questions you can come in or call one of our Service Advisors and they will explain to you the specific recall process!

How long are the wait times to get a repair on my vehicle?
Depending on your repair once we diagnose the repair by our factory trained technicians we can give you an estimate on time of completion. Sometimes we will require to order parts that often ship next business day. We will certainly let you know immediately if parts are required to order! This way we won't keep you waiting longer than you have to!
Do I need to book an check in time?
Its always better to book a check in time! For bigger jobs please give as much notice as you can and we will work with you to set up the best time!
Does Highland Ford offer any courtesy vehicles or shuttles?
We do! We offer a Service Shuttle between 8am -5pm every day! Our Drivers can bring you anywhere you need to go! We also offer courtesy loaner vehicles (when available)! - plus we work closely with local rental companies to do our very best in trying to get you some wheels!
Does Highland Ford have somewhere I can wait for my vehicle?
Of course! Our Service Lounge has complimentary coffee and tea! We have a BIG TV to watch anything YOU want! Free Wi-Fi and enough magazines and books for a small library! For the young ones we have our kids playroom! Highland Ford is also right next to the Cambrian Mall and many Great Northern Road restaurants!
Am I allowed to inspect my vehicle while it is being worked on?
Absolutely! We will be happy to show you anything! Have questions about your vehicle while it's up on the lifts? Come on over and our technicians will help you understand any concerns!
